Story - 9 (out of a possible 10)
The Warcraft story is surprisingly detailed and good. However, so far, the game has not really done much to advance the plot. There is room for it, though; for example, in previous games, the city of Dalaran was destroyed by the Scourge. Currently, it is being rebuilt. In the future, it will probably become open again. Besides this, there is an immense amount of backstory found the books and tablets you find in the game. If you take the time to read quests, some tie in directly with the plot (one, called the Missing Diplomat, deals with the kidnapping of the king of Stormwind).
Conclusion
What I consider to be my first serious MMORPG experience has been a good one. Right now, my trial month is nearing its end and I plan on playing for months to come. The game does have a few faults, however. Blizzard doesn't completely know how to run an MMORPG yet and there are unexpected server maintenances and other small, annoying errors. However, they have been working hard to resolve these since day one and I expect them to continue improving their product for us.
