A great MMORPG for a more casual gamer
Author:admin Date:7/17/2008 Source:http://www.wowgoldabc.com

When I first played World of Warcraft (WoW) I was simply amazed. The gameplay kept me hooked for days.

Gameplay (10/10):
WoW has the style of gameplay that is typical amongst MMORPGs. It has the action bar which allows for quick and easy use of various spells and/or abilities. The spell book. The quest log, character info, and all your other basic MMORPG functions. One thing I found pretty cool was the pet system. In most MMORPGs the player summons the pet with a spell. In WoW you have to tame a wild beast, and instead of just "unsummoning" the pet it stays with you forever (unless you don't take of it).

Graphics (7/10):
This is the one spot where I felt that more attention should have been payed. The shading of the graphics was very similar to Warcraft 3, but not as realistic as an MMORPG should be. And the character and NPC design was too blocky. And some of the combat animation didn't fit quite right. For example when it says "dodge" your character doesn't have a dodging animation.

Sound (10/10):
The sounds all throughout the game fit perfectly. The sound of footfalls change with the different flooring or ground underneath your feet, and the combat sounds are true to the weapon of choice. Blunt weapons have a dull thud, slashing weapons have the typical sound of being stuck into flesh, but my favorite of all the sounds is the bow and arrow sound.
